TINO POHLMANN
TINO POHLMANN

Even as a child, Tino had a strong interest in observing things. It has always been about this fascination and the willingness to hold onto these moments. Taking pictures to share what you see. The holding on, the narration, the message, and, at the same time, the disappearance of time are what intrigues Tino about photography. Fascination, joy, and interest in people and nature – to put it banally – is the core of his work. For Tino, pictures that inspire him trigger something, often because they do something to awaken the imagination. Born and raised in Germany, Tino moved to Berlin in 1998.
He teaches photography at the renowned HTW in Berlin, where he graduated with design studies. Tino’s work covers landscape, portrait, sports, and editorial photography. He has won various national and international awards for his books and work projects.
