To see new things, to see different things, to see oneself or the world, to let yourself be touched and share a moment – that is Annika’s motivation.

Annika grew up in north Germany between Hamburg and Lüneburg and completed her studies between Bremen and Santiago de Chile. She now resides in Berlin and works as a photographer mostly in editorial and lifestyle. For Annika, people are always the focus of the work, if not as a direct portrait, then focused more on their environment, or the question of what it means to be human. She is always on the search for the different, the unknown and the unfamiliar in the familiar.
